Can you justify the cost of TV ads?
Today the cost of cable advertising can be affordable for many small businesses. And, the fact that cable can specifically target the specific local markets you want to target really makes cable television advertising attractive.
When you buy air time to play your mortgage related TV ad you will pay by the add length, the rotaion play of your ad (prime time, over night, mortnings, afternoons...) amongst other factors. Until you actually see real results it may be difficult to justify the cost in terms of ROI. Why not add an additional TV friendly URL for your website (e.g. fastmortgage.com) that is only used on your TV adds? The URL can be redirected to your website using a 301 redirect and then with your website tracking software you can monitor the exact number of visitors that arrived via your radio ad on a daily basis.
Your mortgage website will serve as an extension of your television advertising, what won't fit in the length of your short TV ad can all be accessed on your website for little or no addittional cost to you.
