Exchanging links with framed websites?

What do you think about exchanging reciprocal links with framed websites?

Has anyone had any success with links from framed websites showing up in Google, Yahoo, MSN?

Some of our strongest recips have come from framed sites. There was a time were we refused to exchnage with any framed sites. Now that we see the reciprocals coming back from some older parteners we closely evaluate each site, framed or not and then decide to link or not.

I agree, in the beginning we avoided framed sites like the plague. We did a few links and found they did come back. Today were cautious with framed sites but can't say we never link with them. Apparently some of the webmasters go through the effort to make their sites spiderable.

Anyway, we wouldn't reccomend that anyone starting a new site use frames due to the bad image they have in reciprocal circles.

I check to see of the link page is cached in Google and if it is I link with it framed or not!

Smarter webmasters are adding non-framed pages just for their links pages due to this problem.

The main thing is for SE to index the link, then it's ok.
