Yesterday Google once more updated the back link count they display when checking your back links with their toolbar.

An intersting year lays before all mortgage broker websites as MSN's new search technology rolled out on February 1, 2005 and initially looks to be a strong challenger to Googles #1 market position.

The new MSN appears to give a strong weight to back links as Google does but apparently does not have the same initial waiting period (some call the snd box) that Google does. We have confirmed this with abrand new domain name and mortgage website which we put up in mid December which already ranks #2 on MSn for a primary two word search term and is still no where to be found on Google SERPS.
